Abstract


The paper x-rayed the mobilization of community members for participation in management of climate change. Climate change became a world concern in 20th century due to its causes and effects on earth. Its impacts range from social, cultural, economic and agricultural to health problems of individuals. This gave rise to a clarion call for proper management of climate change by agencies and individuals in the community. This paper discussed strategies for mobilizing community members for management of climate change. It also made appropriate recommendations that there is need for policy initiative on management of climate change; there should be formation of clubs and task forces on management of climate change at community levels; governmental and non-governmental mass media such as Newspapers, radio and television stations should deepen their effort on awareness campaign on management of climate change among others.
